WACO, TEXAS – On Saturday, November 5, the Texas Tennis Museum and Hall of Fame hosted its 2022 Annual Banquet. This year’s event was named "The Court is Open" and celebrated access for all. The evening culminated in the induction of the Class of 2022: Henry C. Cox III, Joyce Dreslin and Larry Eichenbaum.
The day kicked off at the Hotel Indigo as current Hall of Famers welcomed out of town guests. The cocktail reception, sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka, included self-guided tours of the museum and live music. Jim Chaffin, secretary/treasurer of TTMHOF, opened the program. Ken McAllister served as emcee. After dinner, guests heard from Cindy Benzon, Community Services Coordinator | Adaptive & Wheelchair for USTA Texas.
During the Hall of Fame induction, a special video of each inductee was shown. The new members of the Hall of Fame were given the chance to say a few words and awarded a certificate, medallion and blue blazer signifying enshrinement into the Texas Tennis Hall of Fame.
